DOG OF THE MONTH
Niakka is a drop dead gorgeous husky girl that finds shelter life to be a cramp in her style. She looks to have been well fed and well cared for by her previous owner, although they didn't bother to spay her. She looked as though she'd had pups before she came in. She's not a fan of being kenneled, loves to be loved upon. She is KEENLY interested in sniffing the cat room doors, so she either loves them or hates them.

CAT OF THE MONTH
Fluffy came in as a very hungry stray, he was found in the bitter cold by a young lady who noticed he was skin and bones, fed him a can of catfood, and brought him to us. I get the impression she would've kept him, but he's afraid of her dogs. He's not too sure how he feels about other cats yet but we are sure once he gets used to the place he will not mind them, he's a pretty laid back guy. He came in already neutered! He is ready to meet you so stop by soon!
